Number of players

Teams can have maximum of 8 players in the roster including substitutes. No more roster changes allowed after 3 weeks into the league

Substitutes

The respective teams will have to bring their substitutes for the games which should be part of their roster. A full time player and a sub can play only for their respective team and cannot play across teams. Any violations to this rule, will cause a forfeit for the violating team

Referee/Official

This will be a self-officiated league and we expect the participants to display ‘Sportsmanship spirit’ and have fun during the games

Reporting score

Each team will be provided a score card on the day of play to make a note of the scores. In addition to this we expect the captains to email their score to strivevolleyball@gmail.com email address (which will be displayed in the STRIVE website).

Team Rankings

The rankings of the teams will be determined based on the ‘Percentage of wins’, which is calculated as the number of sets a team wins/number of sets played by the team.

End of the league Tournament

In addition to the league, we also offer an ‘End of the league’ tournament which will follow a ‘Double elimination’ format. So irrespective of the standings in the league, each team gets another shot to redeem the title at the ‘End of the league tournament’. Every player participating in the tournament must play at least two weeks in the regular season

Recognition

The top two teams from each division at the end of regular season and in the mini tournament will be recognized.
